• The reasons for the low functional literacy
• Problems with literacy
• The exchange of experience in the field of literacy and presentations of the aspects of literacy

DAY 2 (Tuesday, the 1st of April, 2014):

• Theoretical starting points for the elimination of problems caused by the discrepancy of the written and spoken form
• Different practice in different languages
• The preparation of the literacy model for the participants’ languages

DAY 3 (Wednesday, the 2nd of April, 2014):

• The comparison of the methods of literacy!!
• The presentation of good practice in Slovenia (family literacy, reading study circles, functional literacy for the elderly, computer literacy…)
• The peculiarities of the literacy training with immigrants

DAY 4 (Thursday, the 3rd of April, 2014):

• An example of good practice – ethnological study circles
• An example of good practice – the integration of immigrants
• An example of good practice – volunteering in prisons

DAY 5 (Friday, the 4th of April, 2014):

• Finalising the literacy model
• Possibilities for implementation
• Evaluation of the workshop
